One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in Albania, and especially in city Sarande, new building, clean rooms, fresh sheets & towels, and a cute balcony to breathe some fresh air. Huge plus, you don’t get bothered by the noises of the city.

New property, beautiful balcony with very clean rooms. Staff extremely friendly. I had the opportunity to speak greek with them and it made me feel so nice away from the noisy center in a quiet place. I highly recommend it!

Beaches
Kalasa Hotel is located in between Saranda and Ksamil. This gives our visitors the unique advantage of having quick and easy access to beaches on both sides. The distances are relatively short and only a few minutes from our hotel.
Attractions
Albania’s famous Blue Eye is a water spring and natural phenomena that every visitor should see. A renowned tourist destination, the magnificent light turquoise river stunts with its beauty.
Close to Sarandë, lies the abandoned fortress known as Lekuresi Castel. The castel is located southeast of the town center on a hilltop overlooking the town of Sarandë. From there one can control both the entire town and the islands of Ksamil.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Butrint National Park is an archaeological site that is exceptional due to its beautiful combination of historic ruins, mountains and Mediterranean nature. Together with its surroundings, it forms a unique cultural enviroment that has grown naturally over many generations. Butrint has avoided the aggressive development that has diminished the historic significance of the majority of Mediterranean landscapes.

Walking around Hasan Tahsini Boulevard should be among your first activities in Saranda. This lovely pedestrian beach boardwalk runs along the north coast of Saranda's little bay. The boulevard provides access to the beach, and several restaurants and cafés which sell a wide range of beverages and food. In the summer, there are also interesting markets to visit that are great locations to buy souvenirs. This gives visitors a fantastic first impression of the town.
Enjoy the view from the old Monastery of Forty Saints. A ruined Eastern Orthodox monastery with an amazing view of Saranda. The monastery was built in the sixth century AD and may have served as the most significant pilgrimage place in the Ionian Sea region for at least one millennium.
The Monastery of Saint George consists of a 14th-century restored church within the walls of a monastic complex. It is situated on Dema's hill, halfway between Saranda and Ksamil and offers breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea on one side and Butrint Lake on the other. Monastery Beach, one of Saranda's nicest beaches, is also located down the hill.
